Founded on generations of craftsmanship, Unique Stairways is a family-owned, custom carpentry and renovation company led by founder Damien Rush. Raised in the trades in Donegal, Ireland, Damien brings traditional techniques, quality materials, and pride in craftsmanship to every project.

After relocating to Boston in 2002 and refining his work as a high-end finish carpenter, Damien founded Unique Stairways in 2010, focusing on exceptional craftsmanship and a seamless client experience. Today, the company is supported by a skilled team and family-led operations that ensure every client feels informed and supported throughout the process.

We specialize in custom staircases, cabinetry, fine millwork, and interior finish carpentry. Fully licensed and insured, Unique Stairways partners with trusted trades to deliver thoughtful, high-quality renovations built to last.
